David L. Stover, 54, of 463 Dietrich Avenue, Orwin passed away Saturday morning at his home after a brief illness.
Born in Orwin, October 6, 1954 a son of the late Carl and Jane Machamer Stover. He was also predeceased by a brother, Ronald G. Stover.
Dave was formerly employed by the former AMP, Inc. He had also driven school bus for Jeck's. He and his wife also operated an independant bus company.
He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Reinerton. He was on the Board of Directors of St. Peter's Cemetery Association. He was a social member of the Williamstown American Legion. Dave was an avid Bingo player and enjoyed gardening.
Surviving are his wife Mary E. Weaver Stover, three sons, Jon C., Tower City; Kenneth D. and his wife Mandy, Salisbury, N.C. and Jacob W., Albemarle, N.C. One brother, Gerald C. and his wife Louella, Wiconisco; one aunt, Mae Spicher, Orwin.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, June 10th at 2:00 pm from St. Peter's Lutehran Church with Rev. Charles Oldland. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Tower City. Visitation will be from 1-2 pm at the church. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to his church, Wiconisco Street, Tower City PA 17980.
