William W. Schwalm, 71, of Wiconisco Avenue, Tower City passed away Saturday at Schuylkill Medical Center, East.

Born in Tower City, March 21, 1938 a son of the late Ray W. Sr. and Phyllis Shomper Schwalm.

Bill was retired from the garment industry, where he worked in the maintenance department.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and radio controlled airplanes.   He will be remembered for always lending a hand to anyone that needed it in his neighborhood.

Surviving are four brouther, Eugene Schwalm, Tremont; Roger Schwalm, Muir; Dale Schwalm and Ray Schwalm Jr, both of Orwin.  His companion of many years, Jacqueline "Jackie" Carl, Sheridan;  Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family with Rev. Edward Gobrecht.   Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
