Dorothy M. Unverdorben, 77, of Wiconisco Street, Muir passed away Friday at her home.
Born in Gaines, PA, May 13, 1932 a daughter of the late Charles and Matilda Gilbert Schneider.
Dorothy was employed for 17 years at the Olean Tile Company in New York, she was last employed at the Tremont Health and Rehab as a CNA.
She was of the protestant faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family, enjoyed taking trips and going to yard sales. Her greatest joys were taking care of her grandchildren, who will dearly miss her.
In addition to her parents, she was pre-deceased by her husband of 46 years, Fred H, in 2001. 2 Brothers, George and Robert Schneider and a sister, Matilda McBride, 1 step-brother, Larry Schneider,
Surviving are her three children, Susan Unverdorben and Thomas Unverdorben, both of Muir; Bruce Unverdorben and his wife Karen of Pine Grove. 4 Grandchildren, Brandi Homa, Bruce "Bj", Tommy and Tim Unverdorben. 5 Great Grandchildren. 3 Brothers, Eli, Raymond and Frank Schneider, all of PA.
3 step-sisters Nancy Bentley, Florence Kerfey and Bonnie Schneider all of Florida. Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Homes, Inc. Tower City with Rev. Edward Gobrecht. Burial will be in the St. Peter's Cemetery, Orwin. Viewing will be Monday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
