Marlene M. Baker, 73, of Tower City passed away Thursday at her home.
Born in Washington Twp., December 1, 1935 a daughter of the late Carson and Minnie Snyder Zeiders.
Marlene retired as the head cook from Williams Valley Elementary School, with over 20 years of service.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Tower City where she was formerly on the Alter Guild, Sunday School Teacher and Sexton of the church.
Marlene's life revolved around her family, she will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents she was pre-deceased by two sisters, Frances Wade and Dorothy Silks both of Millersburg.
Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Ross A. Baker, Children, Karen M. wife of Richard Bopp, Williamstown; Theresa A. wife of Luke Weaver, Muir; Debra R. Baker, Polk, PA; Ross E. husband of Diana Baker, Tower City; Tammie S. wife of Doug Walborn, Orwin and Lisa J. wife of Eric Scott, Tower City. Two sisters, Louella Rudin and Joan Kohler both of Lykens. 9 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren. Nieces and Nephews
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 12th at 10:00 am from her church with Rev. Linda Bonfiglo. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 9-10 at the church.
