Marion F. Achenbach, 81,  of Wiconisco Avenue,  Tower City passed away Wednesday night at the Harrisburg Hospital.

Born in Orwin, October 16, 1928 a daughter of the late Raymond and Laura Dillman Steily. 

She was an active member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church,  quilting group and the former church secretary.  She was active with the Williams Valley Soccer Association running the food stand for many years.

Marion's life revolved around family and friends.   Her children, grandchildren,  great grandchildren and friends meant the world to her.   She will greatly missed.

In addition to her parents she was pre-deceased by her husband, Albert "Spocky", 2002;  2 Sisters, Janet Hand and Leatha Dikon, 2 Brothers, Gene Hand and Quenton Steily.

Surviving are three daughters, Susan M. Schulden and her husband Anton of Fredericksburg; Linda J. Archer and her husband Todd and Sally A. Schaeffer and her husband William, both of Tower City.  6 Grandchildren, Ryan Achenbach and his wife Cheryl; Jenna, Erin and Eric Schulden, Laura and Billy Schaeffer. 5 Great Grandchildren.  Marion is also survived by a very dear friend and neighbor, Joyce Hoffman and her family.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 am from St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Reinerton with the Rev. Charles Oldland. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00am.  Memorial donations can be made to her church, 1931 Wiconisco Street, Reinerton, PA  17980.
