Daniel E. Houtz, 63, of Tower City passed away Monday at the Harrisburg Hospital.

Born in Tower City, June 2, 1946, a son of the late Edwin and Sara Britton Houtz.

Dan retired from Yuengling Brewery, Pottsville.

He was a member of the Orwin Fire Company and a life member of the West End Fire Company.

Dan's life revolved around his family.  His two granddaughters meant the world to him.  There is nothing he would not have done for them.

Surviving are his wife, Judy R. Rabuck Houtz; One son, James C. Rabuck and his fiancee Shelley Rhodes, New Cumberland.  Two Granddaughters, Kaytlyn and Hannah.  Two sisters, Pat Slingwine, Tower City and Joan Stakem, Williamstown. Nieces and Nephews.

Following Dan's wishes there will be no services.
