Susan Finley, 59, of Elm Street, Ansonia, CT., entered into her eternal rest on Saturday Nov. 14, 2009 in her home with her loving family by her side.
Susan was born in Lykens, PA Sept. 1, 1950 loving daughter of Richard and Laureen Magee Finley of Duncannon, PA, and has been an Ansonia resident for several years. Susan was a substitute teacher presently teaching at the Ansonia Intermediate School. She received her master’s degree in history at Sacred Heart University; she had a great love for learning, and was also a motorcycle enthusiast, who had a great love of children. She was a member of and the secretary of the motorcycle group Women In The Wind.
She is the devoted companion of Earl “Trout” Cameron
Susan is the beloved mother of Kevin Flynn, and his wife Jeannie and Kelly Moore Victor, the sister of Richard Finley, Jr. Robert Finley, and Carol Finley. She is the cherished grandmother of Kasey and Kaley Flynn, and Laura and Sarah Moore, and great grandmother of Kaden Moore, and also leaves several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Friends may greet her family on Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM in the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home 253 Elizabeth Street Derby. From 6 until 7 PM Susan’s family invites all who wish to share a memory of Susan with them. Burial will take place in the Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown, on Thursday Nov. 19th at 2PM At the request of Susan’s family memorial contributions may be made to the Make- A- Wish Foundation at www.make-a-wish foundation.com
