Brenda I. Kohler, 55, of Pottsville Street, Wiconisco, passed away suddenly Monday, November 30th at the Hershey Medical Center.
Born in Williamstown, February 19, 1954, a daughter of George and Catherine Wohlslager Crisswell, Williamstown and the late Ira Wren Jr.
She was a 1972 graduate of Williams Valley High School.
Brenda retired from the PA State Social Security office as a Disability/Claims Adjudicator, after 35 years of service.
She was a very active member of the Williamstown United Methodist Church, where she currently served as board president, childrens choir director and was active with numerous committees.
Brenda's life revolved around her daughter, whom she dearly loved and was very proud of.
Surviving in addition to her mother and step-father, are her daughter, Kristen M. Kohler, Wiconisco; One sister, Shirley Shutt, Wiconsico; 4 Brothers, Joseph Wren, Lykens; Ira W. Wren, Herndon; Michael Crisswell and George Crisswell both of Williamstown; and a very dear friend, Le Hinton, Lancaster. Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 4th at 11 am from the Williamstown United Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. Stevan Atanasoff. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery. Viewing will be from 10-11 at the church. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to her church, East and Spruce Streets, Williamstown PA 17098.
