Corinne I. Bohr, 90, a resident at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center for 5 1/2 years, passed away there on Tuesday evening.

Born in Tower City, March 6, 1919, she was the second child of a set of triplets born to the late Walter A. and Kathryn Antes Powell.

Corinne graduated from the Tower City High School, class of 1939.   After graduation, she worked in the local factories until the birth of her first child when she became a housewife and caregiver to many family members.

She married John  L. "Whopper" Bohr in 1944 and shared 56 wonderful years with him until his death on April 16, 2000.

Surviving are her twin sister Kathryn Mary "Kay" Powell, two children Kathryn Mary wife Bill Hand, Orwin, Jeffrey Lynn Bohr husband of Debra of Easton, four grandchildren, Ryan Hand and his wife Mary, Kirby Hand and his wife Heather all of Tower City, Jarad and Jordan Bohr of Easton and a great granddaughter Kayla Marie Hand.

In addition to her parents and husband siblings proceeding her in death were Margaret,  Martha, Elva, John , Walter A. Jr., triplet brother, Thomas (MIA) and Richard.

Corinne was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Muir.
