 William C. "Bill" Flynn, 67, of Tower City formerly of Williamstown passed away Thursday at his home with his family by his side.

Born in Williamstown July 2, 1942 a son of the late Joseph Sr. and Frances Lynch Flynn.

Bill was a 1960 graduate of Williamstown Catholic High School.     He retired in 2004 after 40 years as a machinist at the former TRW plant, Harrisburg.

He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Williamstown; a life member of Liberty Hose Co #1, Williamstown where he served with the fire police; Williamstown American Legion; Knight of Columbus, Lykens;  Liberty Hose Co. #2, Lykens.

Bill was very active in the Williamstown Borough council for many years, where he served as council president.

In addition to his parents, he was pre-deceased by his wife, Mary Catherine Fetterhoff Flynn, March 27, 2004; one brother, Richard, one sister, Patricia Sumners and a sister-in-law, Theresa Flynn.

Surviving are his daughter, Anne Marie wife of Paul H. Dimon, Tower City; his son, William E. Flynn, Perry, Georgia; Two grandsons he thought the world of, Jared and Spencer  Dimon;  One sister, Frances Frantz and her husband Roy, Three brothers, Joseph Flynn and his wife Lorraine; Edward "Ned" Flynn and Michael Flynn and his wife Jean  all of Williamstown.   Nieces, Nephews and Cousins and numerous friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated Monday, March 8th at 10:00 am from his church with Rev. C. Anthony Miller as celebrant.   Burial will be in the parish cemetery.   There will be no viewing or visitation.   Please omit flowers, donations should be made to Williamstown American Legion, 123 W. Market Street, Williamstown, Liberty Hose Co. #1,  Broad Street, Williamstown or Sacred Heart Church, c/o parish office,  732 Main Street, Lykens PA 17048
