Robert W. Zerembo, 69, of 224 (R) W. Grand Avenue, Tower City, passed away Wednesday night at the Schuylkill Medical Center, East, Pottsville.

Born in Shenandoah Heights, August 7, 1940, a son of the late Peter and Emma Kline Zerembo.

He retired from White Pine Coal Company, as a heavy equipment operator.

Bob greatest joys were spending time with his family and friends.  He enjoyed flying his private plane. 

He was of the Protestant Faith.   A member of the Sheridan, Orwin, Muir, Reinerton and Wiconisco Fire Companies.    He was also a member of the Tower City Loyal Order of Moose, 1603 and the Orwin Gun Club.

In addition to his parents he was pre-deceased by his brother Ralph and a sister Darlene Fisher.

Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Irene E. Corsnitz Zerembo; His children, Irene E. Clark and her husband William, Donaldson;  Robert W.  Zerembo, Jr. and his wife Heather, Tower City; Jack E. Zerembo, Millersburg; James C. Zerembo, Harrisburg and Carol A. Reifsnyder and her husband Bruce, Orwigsburg.   7 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren. One sister, Delores Shoup, Hometown.  

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 15th at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Homes, Inc. Tower City with Rev. Edward Gobrecht.  Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.  Viewing will be from 10-11 am at the chapel.    In lieu of flowers donations should be made in his memory to the Amercian Cancer Society, 16 N. 4th Street, Minersville PA 17954.
