Kathleen J. Holden, 60, of Colliery Avenue, Tower City, passed away unexpectedly Friday evening at the emergency room of Schuylkill Medical Center, East, Pottsville.

Born in Lykens, October 6, 1949, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Anna Picolla Deneka.

Kathy was a 1967 graduate of  Williams Valley High School.     

On March 11, 1979, she became a born again Christian. Her life revolved around loving and serving Jesus Christ and raising her children to do the same.

Surviving are her husband of 39 years, James A. Holden; her children, Adessa J. Holden and James J. Holden, both of Tower City.  Three sisters, Barbara Stump, Wiconisco; Mary Ann McQuillian and Denise Wolfgang, both of Williamstown.   

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with Rev. Richard Herritt. Burial will be in the Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Williamstown.  In leiu of flowers donations should be made to: James J. Holden Ministries, 1109 E.
