Frances B. Evans, 80, of 22 Race Street, Milton passed away suddenly Wednesday at the Evangelical Hospital, Lewisburg.
Born in Pottsgrove, March 27, 1929 a daughter of the late Hugh and Viola Young Bogart.
Frances retired as the office manager at J.J. Newberry, Milton after 29 years of service. She was currently a registrar for the town of Milton and also the owner of Evans Monument Company.
She was a member of the Mooresburg United Methodist Church, a member of the Watsontown Eastern Star, where she was a former past matron., a member and vice president of the Milton Senior citizens, Washingtonville Fire Company and a member of the widow and widowers group of Strawberry Ridge.
She was pre-deceased by her husband, Donald "Mike" Evans.
Surviving are her son, Todd M. Evans and his fiance Paulette Yuschock, Tremont; One brother, Paul Bogart and his wife Pearl, Danville. A grandson, David T. Evans, Columbus, Ohio. a niece, Cindy Campbell, Winfield, a nephew, Paul D. Bogart, Danville.
Eastern star services willl begin at 2:00 pm Sunday March 21st, at her church followed by funeral services with Rev. Allen Acor. Burial will be in the Harmony Cemetery, Milton. A viewing will be from 1-2 pm at the church. Memorial donations in her name should be made to her church, 7 Sholes Road, Danville PA 17821.
