Helen N.Masarik, 86, of Wiconisco Avenue, Tower City, passed away Wednesday night at Schuylkill Medical Center-South, Pottsville.

Born in Carlisle, July 25, 1923 a daughter of the late Rudolph and Romayne Bell Masarik

Helen retired in 1985 as a seamstress from the local garment industry.

She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church, Tower City and a former member of its choir.  She was also a former member of the Williams Valley Comunity Choir.

Helen was a  wonderful aunt, who dearly loved her nieces and nephews.  She was remembered for her love and devoation she gave to her sister Catherine.

She was pre-deceased by two sisters, Betty Bishop and Jackie Koppenhaver , a brohter Paul Masarik and a great nephew, Dallas Lodish.

Surviving are three sisters, Marlene Lodish and her husband John, Tower City; Pat Hawk, Tower City and Catherine Masarik, Tremont; one brother, Ronald Masarik and his wife Roberta, Tower City.  Nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the  convenience of the family with Rev. Natalya Cherry.  Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Tower City.  In lieu of flowers donations should be made to the Christ United Methodist Church, 400 E. Grand Avenue, Tower City PA 17980.
