Carl W. Troutman, 92, of Wiconisco Street, Muir passed away Thursday at the Hershey Medical Center.

Born in Muir, September 23,1917 a son of the late Frank and Elizabeth Barr Troutman.

Carl was a WW II Army veteran.

He was a retired supervisor with the Civil Defense at Ft. Indiantown Gap.

He was of the protestant faith and a member of the Tower City American Legion.

In addition to his parents he was pre-deceased by his wife, Erma E. Bixler Troutman, 1987.

Surviving are a son, Richard L. Troutman and his wife Barbara, Hampstead, MD; a daughter, Carol E. Carr and her husband Lester, Harrisburg; 4 Grandchildren, Leslie Manuel, Jeffrey Carr, Richard Troutman, Jr.  and Kirsten Strauss.   4 Great Grandchildren, Ashley Deppen, Colton Strauss, Andrew Troutman and Lua Carr.   Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Homes, Inc. Tower City.  Burial with military honors will be in Fairview Cemetery, Muir.    Viewing will be from 10-11 am at the chapel.  In lieu of flowers donations should be made to the DAV  P.O.
