Barbara L. Schorr, 83, of Verona, formerly of Tower City, passed away Thursday at the  UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh.
 
Born in Lykens, August 5, 1934, a daughter of the late John and Merle Paul.
 
Barb was a retired seamstress from the former Bobbi Rogers Garment Factory, Tower City.   
 
She was of the Methodist Faith;  She enjoyed camping, trips to the casino and traveling.
 
She was predeceased by her husband, John M. Schorr, 1986;  a companion, Herbert "Dutch" Mace, 2006 ;  sister, Marie Schue and a granddaughter, Ashley Schorr, 1991.
 
Surviving are her six children, Randy Schorr, Montandon; Denise Scheib (Dan), Tower City; Kevin Schorr (Sherry), Carsonville; Kim Schorr (Pam), Lebanon; Todd Schorr (Jean), Tower City and Melanie Duke (Jeff), Verona; a brother, Harold Paul, Montana.  13 grandchildren  18 great grandchildren.
 
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 13th at 10 am  from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc.
