Benjamin A. Harner, 46, of Tremont, passed away Sunday at his home.

Born in Pottsville, March 17, 1970, a son of Marilyn Harner Ney, Tremont.

Benji was a 1989 graduate of Pine Grove High School.   He was a US Army Veteran.

Before becoming ill he was last employed by Supreme Mid-Atlantic Corporation, Jonestown.

Benji attended the Tremont Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness.

He was an active member of the Tremont American Legion; and a member of the Pine Grove V.F.W..

Benji belonged to numerous dart, pool and adult softball leagues. He was a former coach with the Pine Grove High School Football Team and also coached Pine Grove Teener League Baseball. He was an avid Yankees and Raiders fan.  

He was predeceased by his grandmother, Betty Harner and a brother, Michael Ney.

Surviving in addition to his mother, two brothers, Andrew Ney, Pine Grove and Craig Krause, Ashland; grandfather, Junior Harner, Tremont; Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 17th at 7pm from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc. Tower City.  Viewing will be fro 5-7 pm at the chapel.   In lieu of flowers donations to the funeral home to help expenses.  To sign the guest book visit www.dimonfuneralhome.com
