Carl R. Bowerman, 82, of Williamstown, passed away Wednesday night at Colonial Park Care Center.
 
Born in Tower City, February 27, 1933, a son of the late William and Catherine Reiner Bowerman.
 
Carl was an Army Veteran of the Korean War;  He also served with the Army  National Guard.
 
He was retired from the New Cumberland Army Depot.
 
He was of the Protestant Faith; a member of the Williamstown Legion; Gratz VFW; Williamstown, Lykens and Wiconisco Fire Companies; Life member of the Dauphin County Fireman's Association.
 
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his wife, Shirley Snyder Bowerman, 2011; two brothers, Mark and Clair Bowerman.
 
Surviving are two sisters, Catherine Sener and Joan Adams, both of Harrisburg; two brothers, Bill Bowerman, Enola and Jack Bowerman, Harrisburg.  Several nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 21st at 10:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City with Pastor Claude Schach.  There will be no viewing.  Burial with military honors will be Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations should be made to Williamstown American Legion, 123 W. Market Street, Williamstown PA 17098.
