Carol A. Schneck, 68, of Tower City, passed away Thursday at Pinnacle Health Hospital, West Shore, Mechanicsburg with her family by her side.

Born in Lykens, July 3, 1946, a daughter of the late Earl and Gertrude Readinger Strohecker.

Carol's entire life revolved around her family.  She was devoted to her husband, children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed. She enjoyed gardening, her pets and working around her home.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Bruce H.; her children, Dale Schneck and his wife Paula, Heckscherville; Angela Shuey and her husband Brian, Williamstown and Charlene Bettinger and friend Randy Peiffer, Pine Grove. Her sister and best friend, Kathy Buffington and her husband, John, Tower City; her beloved grandchildren, Nicole, Juliara and Hallie Schneck; Cody Shuey and Tyler Bettinger; Great Grandchildren Alehra Frederick, John and Joel Lutsky and Carsyn Ebling. Brother-in-law, Marcus Schneck and his wife Jill Carvan.  Numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 6th at 11am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City.  Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Tower City.  Viewing will be Monday evening from 6-8 pm and Tuesday from 10-11 am at the chapel.  Memorial donations may be made to Homeland Hospice, 2300 Vartan Way, Suite 115, Harrisburg, PA 17110 or the Tower Porter EMS, P.O.
