Clyde A. Adams, 66, of Williamstown, passed away Sunday at his home from injuries sustained in a tractor accident.
Born in Williamstown, May 3, 1950, a son of the late William and Verna Shiley Adams.
Clyde was a 1968 graduate of Williams Valley High School. He proudly served his county in the Army during the Vietnam war.
He was a retired self-employed contractor.
He attended the Twin Valley Alliance Church, Williamstown; a member of the Williamstown American Legion and the Ashlar Lodge, #570 F&AM, Lykens.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a son, Joshua Adams, 2006; three brothers, Jimmy, Lester and Earl Adams.
Surviving are his son, AJ Adams, Williamstown; three sisters, Ethel Rabuck, Tower City; Martha Nelson, Orwin and Ruth Miller, Williamstown; a brother, Russel Adams, Bloomsburg; Nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 1st at 11:00 am from the Twin Valley Alliance Church, Williamstown with Pastor Joel McGarvey. Burial with military honors will be in the St. James Cemetery, Carsonville. Visitation will be from 10-11 at the church. In lieu of flowers donations in Clyde's name should be made to Williamstown American Legion, 123 W. Market Street, Williamstown PA 17098.
