Dakota M. Kulp, 23, of Wiconisco, passed away early Sunday morning.

Born in Harrisburg, January 8, 1992 a son of Tina Kulp and stepson of Larry Oxendine, Wiconisco.

Dakota was a 2011 graduate of Williams Valley High School; a 2013 graduate of Penn Tech, Williamsport.

He was a proud member of the Army National Guard, Company E, 204, Ft. Indiantown Gap; where he recieved the National Defense Service Medal and the Army Service Ribbon.

Dakota was employed as an automotive technician at Bob Weaver GM Chrysler, Pottsville.

He was a member of the Wiconisco Fire Company, Lykens American Legion and the Short Mountain Gun Club, where he was instrumental in the opening of the Fish Hatchery.  He was a former coach for T-Ball, umpire for Little League baseball and coached basketball for Joe's Gym.

Dakota's life revolved around his family, he loved being with them.  He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, kayaking and "jeeping". He won numerous trophies for Archery. If not with his family, Dakota could be found with his friends, who were like family to him.

He was predeceased by his great grandparents,   Bernice  and Paul Foster, whom he dearly missed.

Surviving in addition to his mother and step-father;  his sister, Laramie Oxendine; his beloved, Callie Bush; aunts and uncles whom he adored,  Tracy and Mike Sedesse; Stacy Kulp and Marie; Todd and Jen Kulp; his cousins, Brandon and Stephen Sedesse and Broderick and Gabrielle Yetter. Grandparents, Sharon Shiley, Grant Kulp and Gloria Stuppy and many dear friends.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 23rd at 11 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating. Burial with Military honors will be in the Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco.  Visitation will be from 9-11 at the chapel.   Memorial donations in his memory should be made to the Short Mountain Gun Club, Fish Hatchery, In Memory of Paul Foster/ Dakota Kulp, Gun Club Road, Lykens,  PA 17048.
