Darryl L. Shomper, 51, of Dalmatia, passed away Sunday at Geisinger Medical Center.
 
Born in Harrisburg, April 30, 1963, a son of the late Lewis and Ethel Underkoffler Shomper.
 
Before becoming ill Darryl was employed in the construction field.
 
He was an avid fisherman.
 
He was a member of the Mandata American Legion #504 and  Lower Mahanoy Township Fire Company.
 
Surviving are his wife, Suzanne Wise Shomper; a son Devin Shomper; Millersburg;a step-son, Chris Headdings, Hickory Corners; two sisters, Lisa Cunningham, Berrysburg and Kelly Shomper, Wiconisco; two brothers, Rodney Shomper, Millersburg and Scott Shomper, Orwin.   Nieces and nephews.
