David Richard Chyke, 85, of Christiana, TN, formerly of Tower City, died Tuesday, May 19th.
 
Born in Allentown, June 6, 1929, a son of the late Michael and Leah Irene Hauck Chyke.
 
David formerly worked as a coal miner; he retired as a property manager in the Real Estate Business.
 
He was predeceased by two sisters, Rachel Keefer and  Martha Horne; two brothers, Charles and Calvin Chyke.
 
David was a loving husband, great father and someone who touched the lives of many people through his generosity of time and resources.  He was an adaptive individual who accomplished many good things throughout his life.
 
He is survived by his wife, Lillian Ruth Hunter Chyke; sons, Timothy David Chyke and  Joel Michael Chyke; granddaughter Michelle Sophia Chyke, Grandson Joel Michael Chyke Jr., granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann Chyke.   a sister, Eleanor Chyke Doyle.
 
Funeral Services will be held Saturday May 23rd at 11 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City.  Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.  Donations may be made to the Alive Hospice, Murfreesboro, TN in his memory.   To sign the guest book visit www.dimonfuneralhome.com
