Donald E. Brown, 78, of Muir, passed away Monday at Schuylkill Medical Center-East.
 
Born in Halifax, April 6, 1937, a son of the late Elwood and Gladys Harman Brown.
 
Donald was a retired machinist from the former Bestok Garment Factory.
 
He was of the Protestant faith, and enjoyed going to Flea Markets.
 
He was predeceased by two wives; Ruthann Janice Morgan Brown, 1957 and Emma Grace Brown, 2008.
 
Surviving are his son, Terry L. Brown and his wife Cristal, Tower City; one granddaughter, Andrea Ventura  and her husband Luis, Pittsburgh; one great grandson, Brady Ventura; two sisters, Darlene Schwalm, Muir and Dorothea Lebo, Halifax; a dear friend, Irene Dubbs, Tower City;  Nieces and nephews.
 
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 13th at 11 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City with Pastor Monica Romberger.  Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Muir.  Viewing will be from 10-11 at the chapel.  Memorial donations in his memory should be made to the Tower Porter EMS, P.O. Box 33, Tower City,  PA 17980.
