Edward L. "Les" Boyer, 96, of Good Spring, passed away early Thursday morning at the Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.

Born in Lincoln, February 12, 1921, a son of the late Edward and Elva Reiner Boyer.

Les was a graduate of Porter High School, where he was the valedictorian of his class.  He was a World War II Army Veteran.

He was a retired mechanic from Ft. Indiantown Gap.

He was predeceased by his wife, Lois Miller Boyer, 2009 a son, Larry Boyer 1992, a brother Robert;  3 sisters, Thelma, Melba and Naomi.

Surviving are two daughters, Janice Mione (Tony), Tower City and Donna Boyer, Schuylkill Haven; one brother, Ralph Boyer, MA; a sister, Faye Krammes, NH. 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren  and 2 great great grandchildren.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc. Tower City with Pastor Annette Shutt. Burial with military honors will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Muir.  To sign the guestbook visit www.dimonfuneralhome.com
