Elaine M. Hand, 85, of Wiconisco, passed away Friday, at the Harrisburg Hospital.

Born in Wiconisco, September 15, 1929, a daughter of the late Harper and Anna Miller Rudisill.

Elaine was a 1947 graduate of the former Wiconisco High School.   

She was a retired billing clerk with Reiff and Nestor, Lykens.

She was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, Wiconisco. Elaine was an avid reader. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. 

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, John Hand, Sr., 2012; two sons-in-law, Dave Briner and Tom Sigel.

Surviving are her children; Jeanne Sigel, Lykens; John Hand Jr (Maria), South Hampton; Thomas Hand (Carol), Fairport, NY; Kathy Spittle (Rod), Tremont; Kerry Hand (Maria), Wiconisco and Marie Briner, Millerstown; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. One brother, Robert Rudisill, Mechanicsburg; two sisters, Elsie Deitrich and Barbara Coats, both of Wiconisco;  nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 15th at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City with Rev. James Lewis. Burial will be in the German Catholic Cemetery, Lykens.  Viewing will be from 10 to 11 am at the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Wesley United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 476, Wiconisco, PA 17097.
