Eleanor M. Gilbert, 88, of Wiconisco, passed away Sunday afternoon at her daughters home, with whom she resided.

Born in Tower City, March 1, 1928, a daughter of the late Charles and Annie Breadbaner Miller.

Eleanor was a retired seamstress from the garment industry.

She was a former member of the Valley Bible Church, Lykens.

Eleanor enjoyed spending time with her family, playing card games and going to antique car shows.

She was predeceased by her husband Richard, June 4, 1998; a great grandson, Cameron Harner, brothers; Charles and John Miller, sisters; Mamie Tschopp and Mary Minnich.

Surviving are two daughters, Mary E. Klinger and her husband Gary, Hegins and Dora M. Harner and her husband Richard, Wiconisco; a brother, James Miller, Harrisburg; 4 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 2 step-great grandchildren.   Nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held, Saturday, February 25th at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc. Tower City with Pastor Annette Shutt and Chaplain Dave Barton.  Burial will be in the Calvary United Methodist Cemetery, Wiconisco. Viewing will be from 12 noon to 1 pm at the chapel.
