Esther M. Machamer, 80, of Valley View, formerly of Williamstown, passed away suddenly Wednesday at her home.
Born in Wiconisco, September 29, 1934, a daughter of the late Leroy and Katie Tschopp Foster.
Esther was a graduate of the former Wiconisco High School. She was of the protestant faith.
She was a social member of the Williamstown American Legion, where she was a cook for many years.
She enjoyed her family, playing bingo and her trips to the casino.
She was predeceased by her husband, Carl "Mouse" Machamer, 2008.
Surviving are her children, Ronald E. Machamer and his wife, Diane; Williamstown; Kathy Bretzius and her companion Donald Boyer, Valley View; Douglas Machamer, and his companion Amy Quairoli, Tremont; Audrey Booher and her husband Randy, Florida; Mark Machamer and his wife Brooke and Donald Machamer and his wife Shayna, both of Williamstown. 15 grandchildren 11 Great Grandchildren; three sisters, Shirley Leshko; Hope Mace and Bessie McNeal. Nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Monday at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City with Rev. Curtis Zemencik officiating Burial will be private in the Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown.
