Evelyn Joyce Burleigh, 84, of Tower City passed away Wednesday, August 12th at her home.

Born in Tower City, May 29, 1931, a daughter of the late Daniel and Evelyn Ritzman Updegrove.

Evelyn was a graduate of the former Porter Tower High School.  She was a member of the former Grace E.C. Church, Muir where she played the paino.

Her life revolved around her daughter and granddaughter. She enjoyed watching the birds and wildlife in her yard.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, April 9, 2002

Surviving are her daughter, Lori A. Burleigh and her companion Steve Noble, Tower City; a granddaughter, Heather Jo, Tower City.

Services were private with burial in the Greenwood Cemetery, Tower City.   Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City has been entrusted with the arrangements.
