Forrest J. "Sen" McCready, 84, formerly of Williamstown, most recently of Tower City, passed away Tuesday at the Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Williamstown, April 12, 1931, a son of the late William and Violet Finley McCready.

He was a graduate of the former Williamstown High School. 

He was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War.

Sen was a retired Telephone Line Installer with Henkels & McCoy. He was also the owner of the former McCready's Shoe Store, Williamstown.

He was a member of the Williamstown United Methodist Church; Williamstown V.F.W. and the Williamstown American Legion.   

He enjoyed bow hunting, shooting pool and golfing.

Surviving are his three daughters, Lynne M. Browne (Barry), Harrisburg; Judy A. Krepich, Orwigsburg and Peggy A. McCready, Oxford, England; two stepchildren, Joanne Wolowicz and Evan Perkins both of Harrisburg; companion and dear friend, Shirley Machamer; four grandchildren, Brandy Ney, Jason Doyle, Austin and Kari Evans; three great grandchildren, Maria Ney, Kiera and Kamdin Doyle, and one on the way.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Burial with military honors will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Williamstown United Methodist Church, East Street, Williamstown, PA 17098 or Tower Porter EMS, P.O. Box, 33, Tower City, PA 17980.
