Frank E. Mione, 71, of Clarks Valley, Tower City, passed away Sunday at the Harrisburg Hospital.
 
Born in Tower City, July 6, 1944, a son of the late Edward and Catherine Wagner Mione.
 
Frank  served his country during the Vietnam War with the United States Air Force.
 
He retired from the former AMP, Inc.
 
He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Chapel, Tower City.
 
He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying camping and hunting.  He had been  involved with his sons as a coach for the Williams Valley Elementary Wrestling and the Giants Little League baseball.
 
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two brothers, Eugene and Ronnie Mione.
 
Surviving are his wife of 47 years, Gail Kreiger Mione; three sons, Jason and his wife Dana, Colorado; Andrew, Tower City and David and his wife Katie, Tobyhanna; five grandchildren, Jacob, Brayden, Davin, Bennett and Brenna. 
 
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, October 9th at 10:30 am from Sts. Peter and Paul Chapel, Tower City with Rev. Paul Rothermel as celebrant.  Burial with military honors will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.  Viewing will be from 9:30-10:30 at the church.  In lieu of flowers donations in his memory should be made to the Tower City EMS, P.O.
