Fred A. Hoffman, Sr., 93, of Williamstown, passed away Friday at the Harrisburg Hospital.

Born in Williamstown, April 19, 1921, a son of the late Fred and Martha Williams Hoffman.

Fred was a graduate of the former Williamstown High School.  He was a W.W. II Army Veteran.

He retired from  Ft. Indiantown Gap. He previously owned Fred's Bar and Grill, Williamstown.

He was a member and past commander of the Williamstown American Legion; a member of the Williamstown (life member), Wiconisco and Lykens Fire Companies and the Dauphin County Fireman's Association.

He was predeceased by his wife Mildred Kaster Hoffman, 1986

Surviving are his three children, Robert L. Hoffman and his wife Janelle, Halifax; Fred A. Hoffman, Jr., Williamstown and Kathy S. Keckler and her husband Craig, Mechanicsburg; two granddaughters, Tina Reinoehl and her husband, Scott and Lokiel Wiscount and her husband AJ; two  step grandchildren, Travis Enders and Nicole Ertel; one great granddaughter, Emma Reinoehl; two step great-grandchildren, Hayle Baker and Elijah Ertel;  Nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 10th at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City with Pastor Annette Shutt.  Burial with military honors will be in the Methodist Cemetery, Williamstown.  Viewing will be from 10-11 at the chapel.  In lieu of flowers donations should be made to the Williamstown American Legion,123 W.
