George O. Fairburn, 73, of Williamstown,  passed away Friday in Millersburg.
 
Born in Muir, June 22, 1942, a son of the late George and Pearl Rhoades Fairburn.
 
George was retired from the Construction Industry.
 
He was a member of the Wiconisco, Williamstown and Tower City Fire Companies; Williamstown VFW and Lykens Legion.
 
Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Margaret Bamberger Fairburn; four children, George Jr., Tony, Kevin and Amber.  Sister, Arlene Smith; 5 grandchildren.
 
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, July 1 at 6 pm from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home.  Please omit flowers, donations should be made to the Dimon Funeral Home, 644 E. Grand Ave. Tower City PA 17980.
