Grace M. Madenford, 84, of Joliett, passed away Saturday at the Schuylkill Medical Center-East, Pottsville.

Born in Ashland, October 10, 1931, a daughter of the late William and Verna Carl Lucas.

She was predeceased by her husband, George Madenford;  a daughter, Karen Bush, grandson Larry Madenford and a great granddaughter, Holly Madenford; brothers, Lewis, Harold, William and Joseph Lucas; sisters, Marion Deeter, Pauline Carter, Annamae and Verna Lucas.

Survivng are her daughter Connie Walters; her son, Larry Madenford  (Lucy) both of Joliett; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; four brothers, Jerry, Henry, Robert and John Lucas; 8 sisters, Shirley Deeter, Betsy Wolfgang, Jean Kroh, Carol Nelson, Janet Maidenford, Cindy Schnoke, Linda Morgan and Barbara Bassansky; Nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 21st at 8 pm from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc. Tower City with Pastor Curtis Zemencik.  Viewing will be from 6-8 pm at the chapel.   Burial will be private.To sign the guestbook visit www.dimonfuneralhome.com
