Grace E. Stanton, 98, of Tower City, passed away Friday morning at the home of her daughter, Lynne Jones, Crystal Lake, Illinois, where she resided  for the past five years.
 
Born in Tower City, March 20, 1919, a daughter of the late Edward and Mary McNoldy Sponsler.
 
Grace was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Tower City, where she was active in the kitchen committee. 
 
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert, 1995; brothers, James, Harry and William Sponsler; sisters, Jane Hoffman and Louise Swaney.
 
She is survived by her daughter, Lynne Jones and her husband Ron, Crystal Lake, Illionis; Two granddaughters, Sheryl Henry and her husband Joel, Madison, Wisconsin and Susan O' Shea and her husband Tom,  Wellesley,  Massachusetts,  Three great grandchildren, Carlton and Allison Henry and Conor O'Shea.  Nieces and nephews.
