Harold W. Reiner, 82, of Tower City, passed away Sunday afternoon at his home.
 
Born in Tower City, March 15, 1934, a son of the late Wilbur and Daisy Shumber Reiner.
 
Harold was a graduate of the former Tower City High School. He retired from the former AMP Inc,  Tower City.
 
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Tower City; the Porter Tower Lions Club, Tower City Loyal Order of Moose, the Tower City American Legion as well as the Tower City and Orwin Fire Companies.
 
Harold served on the Tower City Borough Council for over twenty five years where he was Road Crew Supervisor. He also served on the board of the  Tower/Porter Water Authority.
 
He enjoyed spending time at his camp in Kalmia, whether it be a family picnic or just being with his friends and animals.
 
He was predeceased by his wife of 58 years, Ruth Wagner Reiner, 2012 and a sister Mary Jane Bender.
 
Surviving are a daughter, Jane Hoke, Tower City; a son Harold Reiner, Arizona;  sister, JoAnn Bender, Mechanicsburg; three brothers; Ray Reiner, Sunbury, Wilbur Reiner, Florida and Robert Reiner, Mechanicsburg.  Four Grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
 
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Hillside SPCA, P.O.
