Welcome to the memorial page for

Heidi Ann Harris

October 11, 1979 ~ October 15, 2016 (age 37) 37 Years Old

Heidi Ann Harris, 37, of Tower City, passed away Saturday at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.

The circumstances of Heidi's departure from this earth were not foreseeable or preventable. The bleed in her brain that ended her life happened on her 37th birthday and we were all grateful for those years. There would have never been enough time to spend with her.  Our hope is that the extreme grief our family feels is offset by extreme joy that an organ from Heidi would be available to help another family.

Her life touched so many people in a positive way and will continue to do so.

Heidi was a graduate of Williams Valley High School, a certified scuba diver, she went skydiving once, but would have done it again.  She loved target shooting, not a hunter, though.  She loved rollercoaster's, butterflies, the color purple, Penn State Football and the Dallas Cowboys. She was a homemaker, a mother to a 15 year old son she adored and a wonderful wife.  She was also the middle of three children with an older sister and younger brother, a USMC veteran father and a wonderful mother.

She is survived by her parents, J. Michael and Linda Shutt Ingream, Tower City; husband, Bill Harris; her son, Corey Engle, at home; a step-son, Greg Harris, Dornsife; a sister, Deanna Webb, Bainbridge, PA     and a brother,  Michael Ingream, Tower City; a niece, nephew and a great nephew.

A Celebration of Heidi's Life will be held, Saturday, October 29th at 12 noon from the Crossroads of Life Apostolic Church, 436 Rakers Mill Road,  Elizabethville, PA.   In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to Dimon Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc.,  644 E. Grand Avenue,  Tower City, PA 17980 to help with expenses.
