Jo Lee Ferron, 69, of Williamstown, passed away Saturday afternoon at the The Carolyn Croxton Slane Residence, Harrisburg after a courageous fight against cancer.
 
Born in Lykens, January 6, 1948, a daughter of the late Joseph and Estella Stroup Zimmerman.
 
Jo Lee was a graduate of the former Porter Tower High School.    She formerly worked at Portraits of Life Adult Day Care, Lykens and enjoyed helping at Mione's Pizza, Tower City.
 
She formerly attended the Ebenezer Evangelical Church, Williamstown.
 
Jo Lee's entire life revolved around her family.   She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.  She will deeply missed by her family.  She also had a great  love for her dog, Mag.
 
Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Wayne N. Ferron; two daughters, Doris L. Hanlon and her husband Thomas, Harrisburg and Debbie L. Ferron, Williamstown; three grandchildren, Sarah Biden and her husband Tim Jr., Middletown, John T. and Joseph W. Hanlon, both of Harrisburg.
