John F. Hoke, 83, of Tower City, passed away Sunday at the Holy Spirit Hospital, Camp Hill.
Born in Pillow, December 6, 1931, a son of the late George and Margaret Zeiders Hoke.
He was a graduate of the former Elizabethville High School. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War.
John was retired from the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue.
John was of the Lutheran Faith; he was also a member of the Elizabethville American Legion.
Surviving are his wife of 58 years, JoAnn M. Dempniak Hoke; a daughter, Debra A. Williams and her husband Joel, Wiconisco; a son, John B. Hoke and his wife Beverly, Tower City; a sister, Jayne Hoover, Harrisburg; four grandchildren, Heather Klinger, Michael Houtz, Serenity and Sierra Hoke. 5 great grandchildren.
Services will be at the convenience of the family from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc, Tower City with Rev. Nathan Minnich officiating. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to Tower Porter EMS, P.O. Box 33, Tower City, PA 17980.
