Joseph C. Flynn, 87, of Williamstown passed away peacefully Saturday at his home.
Born in Lykens, August 6, 1927, a son of the late Joseph and Frances Lynch Flynn.
Joe was a graduate of the former Williamstown Catholic High School. He was a Navy veteran of W.W. II and an Army National Guard Veteran of of Korean War.
He retired as a systems analyst from the Mechanicsburg Navy Depot. Joe was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Williamstown; Williamstown American Legion and Knights of Columbus, Lykens.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Joseph Flynn; three brothers, Richard, William and Edward; a sister Patricia Sumners.
Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Lorraine Moss Flynn; his children, Joanne Esterline (Jack), Williamstown; Garry Flynn, Carsonville; Keith Flynn (Michelle), Muir and Annette Neely (James), Lykens; Daughter-in-law, Judy Lengle (Scott), Pine Grove; a sister, Frances Frantz and a brother Michael Flynn both of Williamstown. 8 Grandchildren 10 Great Grandchildren Numerous nieces and nephews.
Private Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at the convenience of the family from Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Williamstown with Rev. C. Anthony Miller as celebrant.
