Karl R. Snody, 40, of Tower City, passed away Saturday.

Born in Pottsville, January 29, 1975, a son of Daryl Snody, Florida and Cecelie Perhach Snody, Williamstown.

Karl was a 1993 graduate of Williams Valley High School.  He was previously employed at Westwood Power Plant, Joliett.

He was of the Catholic Faith, a member of the Tower City American Legion and the Muir Fire Company.

Karl was an avid outdoorsman and hunter. His family and friends meant the world to him, especially his daughter whom he dearly loved.

He was predeceased by Teagan Stehr, whom Karl thought of as a son. 

Surviving in addition to his parents are, a daughter, Amber Snody, Saint Clair; a sister, Angela Clough and her husband John, Lykens; a nephew, Garrett Clough, Lykens. Many dear friends.

A Celebration of Karl's life will be held Thursday, February 12th at 6 pm from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City with Pastor Annette Shutt officiating. Visitation will be from 5:30-6:00.  Please dress casual. Donations in his memory can be made to the Amber Snody Fund, c/o Angela Clough, 235 Lawley Rd.
