Kathryn Fessler Obituary
Kathryn L. Fessler, 95, formerly of Muir and Elizabethville, passed away Sunday at Premier at Susquehanna Village, Millersburg.
Born in Muir, November 15, 1922, a daughter of the late Joseph R. and Mamie A. Unger Daub.
Kathryn was retired Post Master from the Muir Post Office.
She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Muir and the Williams Valley Senior Citizens.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Fessler, 1980; her daughter Kay Shadle 2008; a son-in-law, Donald Shadle, 2013; a sister, Alma Bendigo; two brothers, Lloyd and Charles Daub.
Surviving are her three grandchildren, Sheri Shadle, Elizabethville; Scott Shadle (Yvonne) Elizabethville and Steve Shadle (Carrie) Millersburg; six great grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
Graveside services will be held Friday, April 13th at 10:00 am from the Fairview Cemetery, Muir with Pastor Monica Romberger. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to Grace United Methodist Church, Wiconisco Street, Muir PA 17957.
