Lee A. Nunemacher, 72, of Tower City, passed away Wednesday evening at his home surrounded by his family.
 
Born in Tower City, October 29, 1942, a son of the late Russell and Ruby Alvord Nunemacher.
 
He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.
 
Lee retired from H B Reese Candy Company, Hershey.
 
He was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church, Tower City; a member of the Tower City Fire Company where he served with the fire police.
 
Lee enjoyed being in the outdoors, camping, boating and spending time with his family.
 
Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Sharon L. Bender Nunemacher; four children, Theresa L. Buffington and her companion Kyle McCarty; Lee Jr. and his wife Gloria; Michael and his wife Alicia and Melissa Nunemacher all of Tower City;  8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren;  a brother, Robert and his wife Connie, Jonestown and a sister Karen Shutt and her husband Tom, Tower City.  Nieces and nephews.
 
 Burial with military honors will be Friday, May 22nd at 2:00 pm from Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.  Fuenral porcession will leave Dimon Funeral Home at 1:15 pm.    In lieu of flowers donations should be made to his church, P.O.
