Marcia S. Schumber

Marcia Sue Schumber, 65, of Tower City, passed away Wednesday at the Tremont Health & Rehabilitation Center after an 18 month courageous battle with Glioblastoma.
 
Born in Pottsville, March 24, 1953, a daughter of the late Ellis and Rachel Underkoffler Miller.
 
Marcia was a 1971 graduate of Williams Valley High School.  
 
She was employed by Ingram Micro, Jonestown for many years before becoming ill.
 
She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church, Tower City  and the Tower City Loyal Order of Moose.
 
Marcia's greatest joy was spending time with her family.  She loved hosting holiday gatherings and slumber parties for her grandchildren.   She also had a love for horror movies, Halloween and was a huge fan of the TV series The Walking Dead.
 
Marcia is survived by daughters, Jane Evans, Pottsville, Barbara Imboden (Kraig), Tower City; Tiffany Grimm (Denny), Hegins; Lynette Hechler (Harold), Williamstown;  Sons, Bill Schumber, Chubbuck, ID and Eric Schumber (Christine), Halifax;  Seventeen grandchildren, Six great grandchildren;  a sister, Cynthia Donton, Tower City;  brothers, Robert Miller and Bryon Miller (Mary), both of Williamstown and Kevin Miller (Michele), Frederick, MD; Companion, Sam Mione, Lebanon,  Nieces, nephews and dear friends.
 
A Celebration of Marcia's Life will be held, Tuesday, April 17th at 11 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc, Tower City with Pastor Annette Shutt.  Burial will be in the Methodist Cemetery, Williamstown,  Visitation will be from 10-11 at the chapel.  In lieu of flower memorial donations should be made to the Christ United Methodist Church, P.O.
