Margaret M. Kachniasz, 100, a resident of Frey Village, formerly of Williamstown, passed away Tuesday at the village.
Born in Branchdale, March 23, 1916, a daughter of the late Stephen and Anna Plicter Fazekas.
Margaret attended the former Williamstown Catholic High School.
She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Williamstown where she was a CCD teacher for over thirty years.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband of 62 years, Sylvester; two sisters, Anna Katcher and Betty Labuck.
She is survived by her son, Stephen Kachniasz and his wife Nancy, Elizabethtown; a granddaughter, Julie Kachniasz and her husband Christopher Warren, Pittsburgh; two great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Annabel Warren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, April 11th at 10:30 am from the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Williamstown with Rev. C. Anthony Miller as Celebrant. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be from 10-10:30 at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Benevolent Fund at the Frey's Village, 1020 N. Union Street, Middletown, PA 17057.
