Marie V. Ferraro, 88, of Tower City, passed away Sunday night at the Tremont Health and Rehab.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, November 6, 1926, a daughter of the late Joseph and Lillie Grazino Celantano.
Marie worked for many years as a cashier in the grocery industry in Brooklyn. She will be remembered by many as "Ma", working along side her son, David at Korner Pizzeria.
She was of the Catholic Faith.
She was predeceased by a son, Stephen, 1991.
Surviving are her son, David Ferraro and his wife Kathy, Tower City. Four Grandchildren, Chelsea, Emily, Stephen and Jessica Ferraro.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, January, 10th at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, with Rev. Kathleen Kuehl officiating. Burial will be private in the Greenwood Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY.
