Ralph K. Michaels, 85, formerly of Tower City and Williamstown, passed away Wednesday at the Tremont Health and Rehab.

Born in Williamstown, July 28, 1930, a son of the late Harry and Alma Brown Michaels.  

Ralph retired as a Forklift Operator from Metal Industries, Elizabethville.

He was a member of the Ebenezer E.C. Church, Williamstown;  a life member of the Williamstown Fire Company and the Tremont Senior Citizens.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by an infant son, Ralph; four brothers; William, Marlin, Clair and Alvin Michaels.

Surviving are his children, Marie Trayer, Williamstown, Sherry Schorr, Halifax and Nathan Michaels, Williamstown, three sisters; Carol Deiter and Linda Challenger, both of Williamstown and Kay Williams, Carlisle.  5 grandchildren  4 great grandchildren. Nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Monday, July 11th at 11:00 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc., Tower City with Pastor Brian Betsworth officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation.  Burial will be  in the Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown.   In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Ebenezer E.C. Church, 332 W.
