Ralph F. "Ice" Shuttlesworth, 89, of Williamstown, passed away Friday at the Tremont Health and Rehab.
Born in Williamstown, May 30, 1925, a son of late Joseph and Minnie Jones Shuttlesworth.
Ice was a proud Army Veteran of W.W. II.
He had worked for the Williamstown Borough and the former Smith Distributors, Williamstown.
He was of the Methodist faith. He was a life member of the Williamstown American Legion and a member of the Williamstown V.F.W.
He was a fan of the New York Yankee's and the Cleveland Browns.
He was predeceased by his three sisters, Violet Stinner, Jean Reiber and Eleanor Travitz; three brothers, Joseph, Ray and James Shuttlesworth.
He is survived by 14 nieces and nephews and their families. He is also survived by many dear friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 7th at 11 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City with Pastor Monica Romberger. Burial with military honors will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown. Visitation will be from 10-11 at the chapel. In lieu of flowers donations should be made to the Williamstown American Legion, 123 W. Market St. Williamstown, PA. 17098.
