Ralph L. Troutman, 97, of Tower City passed away Sunday morning at the Tremont Health and Rehab.
Born in Pitman, September 29, 1918, a son of the late Ira Carlos and Clara Erdman Troutman.
Ralph was a W.W. II Army Veteran.
He worked as a Ft. Indiantown Gap and the Mechanicsburg Naval Depot, as a licensed plumber and in the maintenance department; he also worked as a nurses aide at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. He retired from the former Bestok Factory in the maintenance department.
He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting.
He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Alice Troutman in 2005; a son Vernon; three brothers and four sisters.
Surviving are two daughters, Joan (James) Dinger, Hummelstown and Beverly Lenker, Tower City; two grandchildren, three great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
Services will be held Thursday, April 28th at 11 am from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Inc. Tower City with Pastor Annette Shutt. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:30-11 at the chapel. To sign the guest book visit www.dimonfuneralhome.com
