Richard T. "Tid" Fitzpatrick, 100, a resident of Heritage Mill Personal Care Home, Tower City, formerly of Williamstown passed away Monday evening at the home.
 
Born in Williamstown, January 24, 1916, a son of the late Richard and Bridget Morrison Fitzpatrick.
 
Richard was a 1934 graduate of the former Williamstown Catholic High School.
 
He retired as a employment security specialist with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
 
He was a life member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Williamstown; a lifetime social member of the Williamstown American Legion; a former Williamstown borough Council member;  he was the the first president of the Williamstown Youth Athletic Association.    He was also the former manager of the former Weis Market, Williamstown.
 
He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Ruth M. Golden Fitzpatrick, 2013.
 
Surviving are his son, Daniel J. Fitzpatrick and his wife Jane, Harrisburg; a granddaughter, Molly Stahl and her husband Jon, Harrisburg; a great grandson, Harrison Stahl;  a brother, James Fitzpatrick, Millersburg.  Nieces and nephews.
 
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, February 5th at 10 am from Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Williamstown with Rev. C. Anthony Miller as celebrant.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery.  Visitation will be from 9:30-10 at the church.  In lieu of flowers donations should be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, c/o the parish office, 732 E.
